Hello to all my friends with whom I share things day in, day out via this platform. I hope you’ve had a lovely and productive Sunday. As usual, I’m popping in here to share moments from my day-to-day life. On this occasion, I’d like to share with you the simplicity of this celebration, organised with lots of love and care by the family – especially by their grandmother, their father and their aunts: a small 15th birthday party organised for these girls, very simple, but one that simply had to take place to mark such a memorable and significant occasion for a teenager – her birthday – and even more so when it’s her 15th birthday.

Hola a todos mis amigos que compartimos día a día cosas por esta plataforma. Espero que hayan tenido un lindo domingo de provecho. Como es de costumbre, paso por aquí para compartir vivencias de mi día a día. En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir esta sencillez de esta celebración hecha con mucho amor y cariño en la familia, sobre todo de parte de su abuela, padre y tías, un pequeño agasajo de 15 años que se les hizo a estas niñas, muy sencillo, algo por no dejar de compartir esta fecha tan memorable y significativa para un adolescente como lo es cumplir años y más cuando se trata de 15 primaveras.
These girls have dark hair and their parents are currently outside Venezuela; in Brazil, they’re being looked after by their grandmother and aunt, and they wanted to give them this little token of affection between families, as they didn’t have the resources to organise anything on a larger scale, but sometimes the little things done with love, care and dedication are always much better. A very simple get-together, as I said, where we had a lot of fun because we danced, sang and made a toast in their honour; the girls really enjoyed it, which is always the most important thing – that the birthday girls feel happy and enjoy every moment.

Estas niñas son morochas y sus papás se encuentran fuera de Venezuela; en Brasil están al cuidado de su abuela y su tía y ellas quisieron brindarles este pequeño detalle entre familias, ya que no había recursos como para haber hecho algo más grande, pero a veces las cosas pequeñas hechas con amor, cariño y dedicación siempre suelen ser mucho mejor. Una reunión muy sencilla, como dije, donde nos divertimos mucho porque bailamos, cantamos, hicimos un brindis en su honor; las niñas lo disfrutaron mucho, que siempre es la parte más importante, que las cumpleañeras se sientan bien y disfruten cada momento.
When it came to singing ‘Happy Birthday’, we rang up and set up a video call to speak to her dad and her other aunts, who are also abroad. It was all lovely, and to be honest, we really enjoyed it; these are the sort of moments that will stay with us forever. Well, friends, that’s all for now. Al momento de cantar cumpleaños, se llamó, se hizo una videollamada para comunicarse con el padre y las otras tías que también están fuera del país.
