First nuclear test
October 9: Successful first test of a nuclear device.

2007
September 2: North Korea agrees to declare and dismantle all its nuclear facilities by the end of the year.
2008
August 26: Pyongyang suspends the process of disabling its nuclear facilities, protesting the postponement of its removal from the US list of state sponsors of terrorism.
Nuclear Test
May 25: North Korea conducts second nuclear test by detonating underground nuclear device.

2010
Nov. 12: A US nuclear scientist is allowed to see an advanced uranium enrichment plant at Yongbyon in North Korea.
2011
November 30: Construction of a light water reactor and production of low-enriched uranium.
2012
Feb. 29: North Korea agrees to suspend uranium enrichment.
2013 a third nuclear test
February 12: Conducting a third nuclear test at the Bungi-ri test site.

2016 two nuclear experiments
Jan. 6: Pyongyang's successful test of a hydrogen bomb.

September 9: Pyongyang conducts a fifth nuclear test on the 68th anniversary of its founding.
