Marriage is said to be the Union of a man and woman. when the couples are at the front of the alter at the wedding day, they are told to say" they would leave with each other for better, for worse, for richer and for power but I think some people think its just a recitation like a poem you must say that day.

Marriage is not a material things. It is about companionship. You don't get married all because he is gonna buy u a car,spend a lot on u, all sort of that. Money is not everything in a marriage, money is not happiness. What is the essence of the money u have in that marriage and there isn't peace of mind, how can u enjoy the money?.

Causes of Divorce in marriage .

1. Parent pressure:parents tends to pressure their children to go and get married when they think they are of age. Though, it is good to marry at the right age because giving birth at the late age tends to give complication and put the mother life at risk but at the same time it is good to marry only when one is ready for that marriage not because one's friends or younger one's are getting married.

Nigeria parents are fond of comparing their children with that of their friends or neighbour. They later force their daughter to marry someone she doesn't love all because she is of age and later they divorced with a child or children. She isn't happy with whom she is with,hence the marriage won't last and this keeps after from their generation to generation.

1. Friends influences: some wives are influence by their friends. The act of eye consciousness. They get enticed by their friends luxurious and wealthy lifestyle. They forgot that marriage are not the same and their husbands salary differs.

3.lack of understanding and poor mindset: a marriage that lacks understanding between the couples,they dont trust each other,they would later get to the point they wont be able to control their temper anymore which will leads to domestic violence and they later break up.

what woman should value in marriage :

1. Love and affection.
2. Encouragement about her career from her hubby.
3. Ability to forgive each other.
4. Ability to serve as a role model to their children.
5. Ability to appreciate each other.
6. Ability to understand each other.
7. Ability to be honest to each other.
8. A partner who is a friend.
9. Ability to handle each other.
10. Ability to trust each other.
