I always wonder who I am
To tell is Himalayan climb!
I am ashamed to boast of wit
When I do not know MYSELF
I'm told 'twas Dad and Mom that met
To sow My seed, in love
That grew with time to be MYSELF
But, this is among the news
That only raised my brow to yearn —
Who am I in space?
I'd rather turn to you MYSELF
Tell me who you are
I'll keep with you if with you meet my quest
And fill my throbbing nob
Sometimes I'm sad and cast in mood
And wish I'm not in space!
At other times I joy and love
And pray the world would last!
I'm often in nature — realm
In search of who I AM
My part before my birth is veiled
To know I must be a god!
From birth I've marched the stage of life
But yet to create a scene
I learn from those that earlier came
And note their styles of play.
The horizon seen from here is lit
But not enough to know
MYSELF queer, uniquely made
And, only known to God!
