Befuddled and bewildered,
I try to unravel nature's wonder,
Then in thought do I come to naught,
With my preposterous thought.
Stunned, I ask in a mood so pensive:
Where did I come from?
Who begot my ancestors?
Was there ever a time when nature
Was yet a pregnancy?
Perish all parameters!
For i realized in my search that
Science, Religion and Tradition have all erred
And fallen short of answers as to the
Origin of our origin
In defining himself, man has
Got more confused. More
Questions than answers:who are you?
And why are you here?
What happens after now?
Know now that life is a response
To Death's call. Each passing day is
A blessing, and each passing being is
Worth greeting. Look at the faces as if it is
The last time, for in a short while
You'll ask: was it not only yesterday?
