Hi Guys,
Weiss is a traditional rating company. They distinguish themselves from Moody and Standard en Poor by not accepting fees from the company to be rated. Their business model is to take fees from investors.
They give letters from A to E with A being the strongest rating. They have prepared 4 rating models:
Rating models 1 and 2 are linked to price of the coin or token and the volatility of the coin compared to the market.
Rating model 3 is a manual judgment based on white paper, news, announcements etc of technology, open source and some more parameters.
Rating model 4 is assessing transaction speed and scalability

They write on their website that they frequently will update the ratings. In the traditional financial markets ratings have some impact on the price. Lets monitor this and see if it has any impact on the price of our cryptos.
I will subscribe and let you know about the ratings. So far it seems that the cryptos that have a good rating such as EOS and STEEM have gone up in price.
Bitcoin is not an A probably because it is slow and not scalable.
Have a nice day.
