So chatGPT released their latest model called
GPT-6 Astra and below I'll leave a picture of what they claim it can do.
I watched a few presentation of what they say it can actually do, and it was honestly good to see. It's problem solving skills became even more advanced and better agentic capabilities.
So I don't know how long they've been building it, but I believe that this model is probably to compete with Claude's already powerful agentic capabilities.
At the most Claude can not generate pictures, make images, animates pictures or generate videos. I think Claude tries to play the "I'm a master of one skill" While chatGPT tries to do it all, especially with this newer model.
Somehow I think Claude will at some point lean to do what chatGPT can do too, because the average AI users wants an all-in-one model that just gives them everything and the one very reason why Claude still has a huge market is because of chatGPT's inability for maths skills, engineering, coding and other functions, but chatGPT seems to covers this all with this new model, which is honestly a very huge competition for Claude.
If you remember Samsung and iPhone battle, then you'll understand that chatGPT is about to go head to head with Claude, because this model is about to become a huge game changer.
Although I still think a lot of users will continue to have their preference based on the model or AI that suits their work, but in reality we're going to see how it goes. So this is basically not going to be free to test, so the average broke user is probably not going to have access to this model, so I'll probably not be having access to this model.
I remember when Claude released FABLE-5 or so, there was a lot of buzz about it, but I know the average user never got to actually test or use the model, so it's actually more of a model that's accessible to elite AI users.
There are top tier AI users who already have the money to invest in whatever AI models provided it'll automate their work process and make them more money.
Unfortunately if you don't have money and you probably don't have a system that earns you money then you'll probably never get to uses these models and they'll continue to be only accessible to the elite.
On the other hand, you'll wonder why these models keep getting released, I think they're here to stay and not going anywhere. They're basically going to keep getting released like they're some sort of Android or iOS version because why not?
AI models are crazy, and the money is mad, so I think they'll keep getting pumped out, because why not? these companies are hungry to make money and they know they'll do this by making more high end models and making sure to massively extract the money from the AI space.
AI is replacing workflows, people are getting sacked from their jobs and people are losing their livelihood fast, and it's a brutal world out there..
Well I think it means nothing, AI will probably not dwindle or die for crypto to flourish. The hype and patronage will probably only die if YouTube, Facebook and tiktok stops existing and we know that this isn't happening anytime soon, and even it does, there's still the need for AI without social media but, it'll probably take a 50% hit or even more, cuz a lot of it's usage is mostly for content creation.
Are people pivoting to AI instead of crypto? I don't think so. AI is a whole different industry and so is crypto and I think they can have their different patronage, but we'll have to wait for 2028 to measure AI continued relevance with how Crypto is going to perform.
