Have you been in a situation where you almost experience a near death situation? Well, I did. Here's a story of I had experience years and years ago.
I've been on the brink of death for almost 3 times, but let's start with the first one.
*When I was still a kid, around 8 years old, if i'm not mistaken, I lived in a village where the village is built on a river swamp. During that time, It was my grandma's house on my father side that we stayed before moving out to a flat housing area.
So , basically all the houses were based of woods, well I don't really know what kind of woods they were using that time.
At the back of the house , it's a very open view, and we can see the river and our neighbours around us.
There was this big tree, attached to the back of my grandma's house. It's quite large and tall, and I think It was there before the house was built.
So there was this time, me and my big brother went down to the river because the tide is rising. We cling to the roots of the trees as we move here and there, and I still can't really swim that time.
Then suddenly, I was pulled under water. I tried hard to swim back up, I grab every little thing that I can grab, all the roots, but it was too slippery and some of it snaps. Before I could lose hope, and all my sights were starting to fade as my lung tried to fight for air, I feel something is grabbing my hand, and in a second I was up again, grasping for air.
I was being held and taken up in my house, and I was trying to get a hold of what is happening, I realized that it was my big brother who saved me from drowning. God, i'm really grateful that, if it weren't for my brother, I would not be writing this.
As for the incident, I am never sure what or who is pulling me, or how. The questions keep coming back all the years, but as I am getting older, I put that back in the past and moved on.
Maybe it something natural, ghost water? I don' t know. Supernatural entity? But as far as i'm concerned, I am glad that I'm still alive. Thank God for that. Everything happens for a reason, and God knows I still have a purpose to serve.
