Every lunch time is time to discover new restaurant. Thanks to my female colleagues, they are always looking for new restaurants for us. This time we went to a restaurant called Minh & Kok.
Minh represents vietnam and kok represents thailand so the restaurant provides Vietnamese and Thai food. Anyway, the environment is good!!
Once I opened the menu, I was attracted by one photo. It’s too attractive! As I forgot to take photo of the menu, I copied one from Openrice, the most popular dining guide of Hong Kong. You may guess which photo attracted me:
Yes! The roasted chicken thigh! The dish is Roasted Chicken Thigh Laksa Noodle Soup. The Laksa Noodle is from Thailand. I introduced Maylasia Laksa in my previous post and now, I am going to try Thai Laksa! Let’s see the photo:
When I was attaching this photo to my post, I felt hungry again! I am not sure if roasted Chicken Thigh is popular in Thailand but I am sure that it’s a HK famous food! And fxxking tasting! Let me try:
The chicken thigh is well roasted and one good thing is that the thigh was cut into piece so easy for me to eat.
But I have to say that the taste of the soup is not heavy enough. Maybe the restaurant is trying to suit the taste of HKese. By the way, my colleague ordered a rice with chicken thigh and egg:
For me, the noodle is good but not too good. It will be much better if the taste can be heavier. And for the restaurant, it’s decent and the price is not so expensive. The noodle I ordered was HK$58. Not bad right?
