Hi Steemians,
This is my second post and also day 2 of having joined Steemit. Lots to learn still :)
Yesterday, we took our kids, Miss A (6 years old), Mr. A (almost 4 years old) and Mr. L (1.5 years old) to Blaxland Riverside Park, an adventure park in the west of Sydney. We've been a few times before, to either play on the playground equipment or to ride bikes and scooters. But as it was scorching hot yesterday, hubby A and I were prepared and brought their swimming costumes for some water play as we knew the kids would not leave without a bit of a splash around.
Indeed hubby A and I were correct, the 3 kids had so much fun (and to be honest, so did we!). The joy in their faces said it all - they did not want to leave!
Aside from this water feature, this expansive park also has:
Blaxland Riverside Park is definitely an awesome park to visit if you plan on having a day out with family, bring a mat and enjoy a picnic, have a BBQ. Otherwise, there is a cafe there to save you all that trouble of bringing your own food.
One thing to note though is that the park has very limited shade. There is no shade over the play equipment and there's only a handful of umbrellas to sit under. Be sure to cover up on a hot and sunny day.
Overall, we all had so much fun and only had to drag the kids to leave as it was time for lunch, and we were starving! A must visit if you are ever in the area.
