Hi Steemians,

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend! Today was especially exciting, attending a friend's 3-year old's birthday party. Miss 6, Mr. 4 and Mr. 1 had dare-I-say too much fun. Emerging from the crowd of kids with sweat dripping down their faces from the heat and play.

Today, I am also submitting my entry for kalemandra@kalemandra's #colorchallenge photo contest for tomorrow's #Mondayred colour of the day. More information regarding the rules can be found here.

This photo is of the Torii Gates taken at the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, Japan, in 2015. Torii Gates are commonly found at the entrance of, or within a Shinto Shrine, and represents a pathway into the Shrine's sacred space. Walking through the red Torii Gates was truly spectacular - being able to catch a glimpse into Japan's history and culture.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post. Please follow me for more exciting posts to come 馃槃
