After finishing the „Corona Bali Protected“, the World Surf League moved from Keramas to Uluwatu. Ulu - as the spot is called among surfers - is probably THE hot spot in Bali, not only when it comes to catching waves. The easy going Bali mode can be perceived at any corner. Life’s pretty nice at places like this one! But back to the competition: Starting from today the „Uluwatu CT“ is taking place and officially completing the „Margaret River Pro“ from Western Australia which was cancelled recently due to shark activity. So I literally got the 2-in-1 here: two world surf competitions in one vacation - baaam! Also my WSL media wristband enabled us to access a nice shady area at today’s event from where we had best views on the break. The ones of you who’ve been to Bali will easily recognize that this is the Single Fin cliff. But let the pictures tell you the story...🙂 Today’s my last day in Indonesia by the way. I’ll be taking one more deep breath of the Bali vibes though...🌴🌺🌸 Much love, Marly -
