How Jin Yongs story "the Smiling Proud Wanderer" is an encyclopedia for Ancient Chinese culture

HOW JIN YONGS STORY THE SMILING PROUD WANDERER IS AN ENCYCLOPEDIA FOR ANCIENT CHINESE CULTURE:

Above i posted the trailer for the latest adaptation for Jin Yongs story the "smiling proud wanderer/xiao ao jianghu"
This story has been made into a tv series many times over the last 30 years and is one of Jin Yongs most popular books.
Even though in this adaptation the producer changed some of the story around the ancient Chinese culture is still very much intact. During this story the main character "ling hu chong" gets a very bad internal injury, during this time the he makes it a point to find the cure for his injury. Here are some of the things he did to cure himself during this time.

1.Nature- During this time he had to leave the big city behind and find a secluded place to rest and recover his injury, after spending some time in a cave afterwards he found a secluded house in the middle of the forest where he could rest.

2.Qigong energy Healing- During this time he found some really high level energy healers that were able to transfer internal energy to him to help give him more energy so he could survive longer while finding a cure.
He later learned Shaolin Yijinjing a popular Qigong style used to heal all internal and external injuries that is practised all over the world today.

3.Music- While he was injured he found solace in traditional Chinese music and instruments. He would spend all day playing the Chinese piano/Guzheng and even said afterwards that he felt much better and didn't even notice his injury anymore.

4.Calligraphy-While injured he learned some traditional calligraphy from a master that also helped him to recover even more. Calligraphy is considered a huge part of traditional Chinese culture.

5.Herbs and Tea- During this time he was tricked into trying some herbs that really improved his condition and gave him a boost of energy. Some of these herbs he took were Reishi mushrooms, Deer antler, and Ginseng. These are considered super adaptations and are highly regarded in traditional Chinese medicine for healing all sorts of illness and injuries.

6.Neigong- Finally he learnt some special Neigong meditation techniques that finally cured him of the injury. He was able to reverse his qi flow and completely recover.

During "ling hu chongs" time with the injury he met another master that told him the injury wasn't a physical injury or a poison that he was suffering , it was a emotional injury after being severely heart broken by his childhood sweetheart.
I think we can all relate to that. Emotional injuries like heartbreak if not released could start a chain reaction of poor health later on. In ancient Chinese culture and Qigong it is believed that the mind body and spirit are all one, if the mind and spirit are not right eventually it will affect the body causing the body to become sick over time.

in my View all these things that helped cure the main character "ling hu chong" are all the jewels of traditional and ancient Chinese culture. During these times people used this wisdom to heal themselves of all sorts of injury and also to enrich their lives. In today's modern culture we could also use this wisdom to enrich and better our lives along with healing current and past injuries whether it is physical and emotional injury.
I personally practice many of these things i listed above on a regular basis and it has changed my life for the better, i no longer get sick as bad as i use to and i also feel much healthier, happier and more energetic then before.
I hope this can inspire you to adopt some of traditional Chinese culture into your lives as we
