INTRAMUROS
It is known as the City within the walls.
It is the historic capital of the past in the Philippines. This place is where Miguel Lopez de Legaspi founded the fortress by forcing a mass of Filipinos to build it in order to protect the Spaniards and Mestizos from attackers such as Muslims and Chinese fleets.
These are the famous attractions situated inside Intramuros:
a. Manila Cathedral
b. Baluarte de San Diego
c. Plaza San Luis Complex
d. Palacio del Gobernador
e. Fort Santiago
f. San Agustin Church
Note: I will be going around Intramuros by next week to share with you the attractions because I just passed by to go to my destination, National Museum of the Philippines which I will publish next.
