This post is made in response to Steemit In Nigeria (SIN2) objectives to help communities attend the conference in Abuja which has been slated to hold between 30th October to 4th November, 2018.
Therefore, all Steem Dollars generated would be used to make SIN2 conference a success.

'The unknown' used in this context is just what we know little or nothing about. Many at times, we are always scared of the unknown.

Humans can't fly, we don't have wings
Yes we can, even without wings

The Wright brothers invented the first flying airplane, they were not scared of going to any length to chase their dream, against all odds. They discovered the mechanisms that allow for humans to fly.
People can travel long distances with the shortest time, because they dared the unknown. In fact they were ready to die for this. Their father made his sons promised not to fly together to avoid double tragedy and for one the other person to continue the experiment.

Thomas, just give up already

Another inventor, Thomas Edison, did series of experiments before he could get the satisfactory element for the incandescent light bulb, that we have today. He performed more than a thousand experiment before he got his breakthrough and dared to solve the unknown.

There might be issues that need solving or that journey that the destinations are not really clear, it's always good to explore.

Look before you leap,
I'm taking this leap, thanks for the warning!

Majority promised to quit their paid jobs and start their own at beginning of this year, some wanted to expand their businesses to other locations or venture into another line of business, even some in good relationships promised to get married, few wanted to embark on a journey, some it's for them to sit for an exam for their promotion, but all their dreams have not seen the light of the day,

Why? The fear of the unknown!

You don't even stand a chance if you've not tried. Trying gives fifty percent opportunity of either success or failure

Most of the inventions we enjoy today, their inventors passed through series of challenges. Sorry, I like inventors cause they make our lives easier. Assuming they quit there would have been never a breakthrough for us in the science and tech space.

In fact, some of the inventions are just failed experiment, one of them is super glue (hard adhesives).
So, failure and success is a journey, along the line, if you persist and not giving up, you'll surely breakthrough.

Never give up on that dream, dare the unknown, even if you don't succeed, you'll know there's a better way to achieve that goal.
