Travel story - West of Iran - Part two

Hello

Day 7

OK! lets do this... It's been a while. About three month ago I started a travel story, finished the part one and never got to part two.

Previously on AMC's the walking dead... Oh no, NO! sorry...
A short summery of part one, we (me and 2 of my friends) decided to go for a trip, we searched and chose a wetland in west of Iran to visit, after hours of driving we reached the wetland, but it was completely dry. We were disappointed, but didn't give up and searched on the internet and found another destination, though we didn't know if it's a good one or just looks good in the photos. Anyway we drove to the new destination to see it for ourselves if it's good or not.

Based on the first photo, I guess you already know how was the new destination.

After saying our prayers in that beautiful mosque of the part one, we wanted to eat something for lunch. So we stopped by a fast-food.

As we got closer to our new destination, we realized it might be even better than the that wetland when it was actually wet. The weather was good, trees where beautiful at that time of the year. (end of the October 2018). It felt really good to be there, especially after being disappointed by the first destination.

Oh! and there was a river.

River, trees, mountains... What else did I need? I like dense forests, I like sea, but in the end,I judge a destinations by its mountains. (not really, but I have higher respect for mountains)

There wasn't a dense forest there, but enough trees to give us a very good experience. Interestingly the are was so diverse, close to the river, it felt like a forest, few hundred meters toward the mountains... no forest, few trees, another landscape.

It was getting dark, we searched for wood, and we found a little piece of wood (lol) to set up a fire. Actually we took the tree trunk on the right, dragged it tens of meters to our camp site but we couldn't use it properly. It was a little wet and we tried to ignite the wrong end. It started burning after hard work and using small wood sticks.(and before hard-fork).

And what we do with a fire? we boil the water to make tea. As far as I know, British people brought this tradition to Iran. Iranian used to drink coffee before that.

Due to lack of necessary tools, we tried to cook eggs in a Tuna can, which was funny in that moment but also the most reasonable approach. It didn't go well, but it worked. Fun fact, we realized only two eggs can be fit in one tuna can. (I hope your laughing as hard as I am at this point).

I didn't take any photo of that moment, this is a snapshot of a video I took, and no surprise, a funny conversation is going on in the video including that fun fact.

Next morning we went to the other side of the river, and walked about half a kilometer or more to reach the WC and also buy breakfast from a small store that was there. We also borrowed a pan from the store to not go through all the pain we went through the previous night.

Then we went back to the unforgettable camp to make tea and eat breakfast.

Thanks to the pan and the guy who give it to us, we had an easier job that morning.

After eating breakfast (which was actually both breakfast and lunch for us) we had some fun in the river.

After that we packed up our stuff and put them in the car and went to the end of the road that brought us here. It was a dead end road for accessing this area.

We parked the car and went toward a hill.

The landscape was nice, maybe not super amazing, but still liberating and peaceful.

_MG_8773_Edited_resized.JPG

Then we went back to where we parked the car when we first arrived, to wash the car and take some photos and videos.

_MG_8787_Edited_resized.JPG

This was the time that I took the first photo of this post, along side other few shots that were not as good as that one, but still good enough to be seen.

I was satisfied with those shots, we were happy, and it was getting dark, we needed to leave.

We headed toward our home town, but there was still another city we wanted to visit...
