Wooden path with observation tower in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland

Krynica-Zdroj, positioned in soutch of Poland in Tatra mountains, is famous for drinking water and is seen by tourists as a great sanatorium, although at least the capital of large winters, like nearby Zakopane.

This is definitely a big plus for this place. There is a lack of loud tourists from big cities in the hats of the Polish national team or the eternally drunk local highlanders. These kind of people you will not find here.

You can use different waters, where you have a choice of 5 different types of drinking water, each of which supports other organs of our body. A beautiful main road in the city center with historic houses and villas is a worthy crowning.

Of course, there is a ski slope in Krynica, operating in winter, located in the Jaworzyna Krynicka forest band. Skiers can go there in the winter, while in the summer there have been walks in the woods, hiking in the mountains and picking vegetables and mushrooms.

However, something else called me to Krynica. The first wooden path in Poland and the tower in the treetops! The impressive structure was put into use by tourists this year as a summer alternative for skiers and nature lovers.

Access to the content path is right at the exit of the cable car. Costs of the entrace is 39 PLN (around 10 euro) for 1 adult. They are available for families with children. Visiting time is unlimited.

We start with the path: Slowly walking, rising together with the path higher and higher, until it appears at the height of the treetops. We begin to admire beautiful landscapes and forest from above. Every now and then the site will show information boards or multimedia mini-games, familiarizing us with the flora and fauna of the surrounding forests, as well as the stories of Krynica and the communities of the surrounding areas.

The path is really popular among friends. We stood in a queue for forwarding on Sunday afternoon, about 2 hours. We quickly forgot about it when we started our walk. At the end of the path there are even higher lookout towers, completely built of wood, supported by metal scaffolding, all for our safety.

The tower itself is 49 meters high, which is equal to the height of 17 floors! The view from it is beautiful. We can see the surrounding peaks, forests, a piece of the city. I recommend going and seeing this beautiful place with your own eyes. The total length of the path is up to 1030 meters, which is about half an hour of slow walking. Something like this is not in Poland and just visiting in summer is a beautiful complement for anyone who goes skiing in Slotwina Arena during the winter.
