What do 2 grown men do when rain stops work in Cardiff? Avengers station of course

Before we go into too much detail, as embarrassing as this day out was, both of us are quite big marvel film fans. As much as this was a kids day out, is was pretty cool. Due to the weather, and time of day, we paid our entry fee, and then we were shown to the queueing area, that wasn’t too dissimilar to some theme park ride queue. Posts and ropes zig zigged from side to side to accommodate a couple of bus loads of presumably children. Then we sat there for about 20 minutes on our own, and it was apparent that we were going to be the only people attending at this time. The tour did start in a purpose built room for roughly 50 people, with an introduction of the avengers station, and a speech from one of the staff members dressed in the S.H.I.E.L.D outfit from the movies, all about how every single one of us have been accepted to trail out to be an avenger, with just the 2 of us in the room trying to keep a straight face, and not appear too rude as this lady acted her heart out in front of us. Once the introduction was over, the rear door opened up to the main attraction. A good 1/3 of the entire tour was taken up with all of the replica Ironman suites from the films, along with a motion camera game, which Alex spent a good 20 mins on.

It then moved into the end of the hall where that 1/3 was taken up with the rest of the original avengers crew. They had life sized hulk limbs, and a lot of other interactive props. They also had hawkeyes bow, where there was a simulation of the forces involved to hold onto it.

The final 1/3 of the tour was taken up with some of the villains props. There was quite a cool ant man section where you were able to control a load of ants with your mind, but there was no Dr strange, or guardians on the tour which I think they missed a trick. Overall it was quite a good laugh, the very end of the tour was a group game where you get paired off with certain avenger teams, and battle it out somehow. But as we were the only 2 in the entire experience, we decided to call it a day.
