LAKE TEKAPO IN NEW ZEALAND

South Island New Zealand has an enchanting natural beauty that has become a popular tourist destination not only in New Zealand but also throughout the world. Tours are offered ranging from icebergs, beaches, lakes and rivers, to cities, villages with various attractions and interesting activities therein.

Lake Tekapo is located southwest of Christchurch, the Mackenzie Basin. The township faces north, crossing a charming blue-green lake to the Southern Alps. Lake Tekapo gets its deep blue-greenish color from fine rock powder (destroyed by glaciers) held in water. This lake is the second largest lake of the three lakes in the area.

At the edge of this lake, the first thing to do is relax on the edge of the lake while admiring the beauty of the lake, after relaxing and admiring the beauty of the lake you can also take a walk to Mount John. Near Lake Tekapo, there is a place called Mount John, where you can see sky objects. Well, if I'm not mistaken, there's a night tour, so it's quite popular. By the way, Lupine flowers are also very famous as a photo spot on Lake Tekapo.
