Worldtrip! Ziplines, treehouses, jungle and hikes. Our bucket list item came to an end.

So! We were still in a treehouse in the jungle of Loas and very afraid of rats! But we survived the night although we didn't have a lot of sleep.

At 4 o'clock our alarm clock went off. At 4 o'clock?! Yes people, really... 4 hours! Then we would have more chance to see Gibbons. At our treehouse we would certainly not see them, so (suggested by guide) we would leave early for another treehouse and to have breakfast there. The chance to see these cute and rare monkeys was 50/50. For us enough to take the effort!

And then you'll get up in the middle of the night... You get out of your tent, total darkness and you want to put your shoes on. That moment... you suddenly realize that animals have been eating your socks! This happened to Carmen, but of course, Nikki is always a step worse.

It is true that Nikki had put all the food and drinks in the locked box the evening before, but forgot that one delicious 7-week-old syrup waffle in the side pocket of her bag. @#$%&*@#%!!!!!!!! Let's just say the side pocket of her bag is not among us any more.

Time for a visit to the toilet in the dark. Carmen already thought, this can never turn out well; Nikki squatting on a toilet in the dark.
'Aaaahhhhhhh fuck!!'
"What's wrong Nik?"
"I've dropped the toilet paper!"
Meanwhile, we heard Fiona (one of our groupmemebers) lying on the ground of laughing. Her laughter continued in our heads for a long time.
'Hey Nikki, the gibbons will be so happy with the toiletpaper (hihahihahahihaiha) We just have to look for a gibbon covert in toiletpaper (hahihaiahiahha). Such a strong humor that woman...

After that, it was really time to go to the other tree house. Ziplining in the total darkness was a whole new experience and after 2 hours we reached tree house number 5. Everyone just woke up and we came in ziplining and of course we confiscated a few seats. We have been looking for the mummygibbons but unfortunately we've only seen a squirrel and a bird... SCORE!! Sitting there in the cold was not great fun but after that we did some great hikes again and awesome ziplines of course.

In the evening (in a new treehouse), the guide wanted to learn some English words from us. Of course! So we we've been helping him the best we could and we think we did a pretty good job. We even got to learn some Lao from him.

Unlike the first night, this night was quiet for us and we slept very well. This time for breakfast we had a sandwich (YEAH) and Hannah (a grils from our group) found out there have been rats again that night cause her laces were chopped through. IEK

Then it was really time to grab the last zipline and walk back to where it all started. There we arrived at half past twelve. And what was waiting there to start the journey... Right, a whole group of nice young people who spoke to us enthusiastically. Alright boys, but we're going back to town now...
Lucky basterds we are! ;-)

We said goodbye to our friends and then it was time time for us to return to the country where we are still in love with: Thailand!
