WOW, can I tell you, this has been an adventure today. This morning we drove to the heart of town. There in the City Palace of Jaipur, Holi is celebrated in a very extreme and intense way.
All of them were on their way with a small bag full of coloured powders and they were greasing each other. Happy Holi! Everybody says so and is all the more pleased when the other person has the face and hair full of powder.
You can't get through here without colors. No one was without stains on his face and clothes. Super, I can tell you that!
Our daughter also enjoyed it, even though she looked pretty shameless at the end. She had also greased other people.
The point is, if you stop, more and more people are coming towards you. So you have to keep moving and continue on your way. We didn't know that at the beginning and were very fast full of colour.
I even got the powder in my mouth. Somehow it tasted lemony....
A great day that we will certainly never forget.....
WOW, kann ich dir sagen, das war heute vielleicht ein Abenteuer. Heute morgen sind wir in den Kern der Stadt gefahren. Dort im City Palace von Jaipur wird Holi sehr extrem und intensiv gefeiert.
Alle waren mit einen kleinen Beutel voller farbigen Pulver unterwegs und schmieren sich gegenseitig ein. Happy Holi! Sagt jeder dabei und freut sich umso mehr, wenn der andere das Gesicht und Haare voller Pulver hat.
Du kommst hier nicht ohne Farben durch. Keiner war ohne Flecken im Gesicht und Kleidung. Super, das kann ich euch sagen!
Unsere Tochter hat es auch genossen, auch wenn sie am Schluss ganz schön verstellt aussieht. Sie hatte ebenso andere Menschen eingeschmiert.
Der Punkt ist, wenn du stehenbleibst dann kommen immer mehr und mehr Leute auf die zu. Du musst also immer in Bewegung bleiben und weiter deinen Weg durchbahnen. Das wussten wir am Anfang nicht und waren sehr schnell voller Farbe.
Ich hatte sogar das Pulver in den Mund bekommen. Irgendwie hat es zitronig geschmeckt...
Ein toller Tag, den wir bestimmt nicht mehr vergessen werden....
PS, die Kameras arbeiten wie geschmiert, auch mit Zentimeter dicken Pulver ;-)
