Ulun Danu Bratan Temple is 45 minutes away from Ubud and is one of the most popular temples in Bali. It is crowded day in and day out so make sure you come early to peacefully absorb the magic of this place. Otherwise, sunset also is a beautiful time to take some memorable photos. Entrance fee is 50 000 IDR (less than $4) and the views on the way are beautiful as well.
Lake Buyan is located close to Ulun Banu Bratan temple and is a great place to enjoy the cool weather and take some beautiful pictures from viewpoints built on the side of the road. If you are heading to the Bratan temple just include Lake Buyan as a short stop on the way.
