If you follow @danivannova on her personal account, then you already know she’s enjoying herself in Italy and Greece.
One incredible tip we learned a while ago and she is, in fact, practising it on this trip is kombucha! Yes, the fermented tea/juice you can find in organic markets.

The reason drinking kombucha is one fantastic tip for healthy travelling is that it helps regulate your gut microbiota, hence your digestion. During trips, especially to a continent 10.000 km away from your country, your diet and habits change dramatically. This can affect directly to your gut health and cause bloating or pain.

Some of the pluses of the kombucha are: is natural, is always packaged in glass (glass is 100% recyclable), it keeps you hydrated, and it is delicious!

The Kombu from the pic, @danivannova found it in Florence, in a store called EcoPopUp. Lovely staff and good quality products.

Have you guys tried Kombuchas?
What are your favs fermented products?

Among our favourites: Sourkraut, plant-based yoghurt, sourdough bread and wine.
