The Incline Railroad in Chattanooga, Tennessee is one of my favorite places to visit. The railroad is located in the area called Lookout Mountain. You can see a great view of the city when riding the railway. It's very steep and quite an experience.
The railroad is not far from Rock City or Ruby Falls. There are restaurants at the bottom of the railway. If you get off at the top and take a short walk their is a civil war park called Pointe Parke that was a civil war fort at one time.
