The halls for the Bodhisattva of the Mercy

There were 2 buildings at the left and right side on the temple ground.
The one of two buildings were famous for its roof style. There are several traditional roof construction style in the traditional architecture. This roof style is very rare in the Buddhist Architecture. The roof had four angle sides.

This building had been rebuilt after the destruction during the Japanese Invasion 1592 - 1599 AD. But it showed the characteristics of the Architectures in Shilla dynasty which had built more than 7-800 years before its rebuilt in Choson dynasty.

At first, the foundation of the building and the steps were relatively well preserved. Especially simple and elegant stone steps were the typical example of Shilla dynasty’s architecture style.

The other thing made me interesting was the Buddhist paint located on the wall of the hall of the Bodhisattva of the Mercy.
