The public has began to exist once again in western Canada. I am currently waiting to board the ferry in Horseshoe Bay destine for Departure Bay Nanaimo.
What to expect when you travel on Ferry's in Western Canada
For the early bird boat, it's relatively low volume of passengers. This is a special circumstance, first Ferry out every morning is always discounted. It appears to be active still.

- all confectionery stores on the ferry are closed
- must remain inside your vehicle for the entire duration of the ferry ride
- plastic barriers installed at toll booths
To top this all off the locals get out of their cars and pace around giving dirty looks to people with out of province license plates. Because you violate the rules and that somehow gives you the moral authority over other free Canadians?
It's very odd how there has been rumors of overactions to Alberta license plates in British Columbia. I dont see it and suspect it's a remote and isolated few incidents that coincidentally happened during lockdown. If my Jeep gets keyed I'll show the blog my bloody knuckles or the bloody tire iron if the guy swings first lol. Canadian laws are a joke, so remember if you're going to fight someone here you only get 1 swing before it escalates to more serious charges, so make sure that 1 swing counts. If they dont get up you get a attempted murder charge either way, so may as well swing for the fences is my logic, I am not worried about a confrontation. I also dont provoke fights between collared slaves with nationalistic values based in the melting pot, so wouldnt be me who gets the attention from these degenerate fools who have been rumored to be beefing between Alberta and BC.
