Burg Rabenstein is a former aristocratic castle in the Upper Franconian county of Bayreuth in Bavaria, Germany.
It is located within the Franconian Switzerland-Veldenstein Forest Nature Park at a height of about 420m over the valley of Ailsbach, a river of Bavaria.
The castle is only 6.5km northwest of Pottenstein.

The oldest parts of the castle were built in the first quarter of the 12th century as a residence in the Barony of Waischenfeld.
During the following centuries ownership and occupancy of the castle changed hands several times.

In the recent past the castle was converted into a hotel for events and conferences.
They also host a yearly medival market where visitors can buy hand crafted souvenirs, see some medival roleplaying or attempt little courses e.g. bow shooting.
