Hi friends! We chose a gorgeous spring day to make our walk to the famous Stryjskyj park in Lviv, Ukraine. This is a great place occupies over 50 hectares. So today I will show only a part of our walk. Feel good energy of this great park, which was built for Polish kings!
As soon as we enter the park, we immediately feel the spirit of ancient times, looking at this majestic abandoned arbor. I imagine how once the ladies in long dresses went here on secret dates!
We go from the side of Stryjska street, and we get to the main avenue, where there is a cinema and a restaurant. There are always a lot of people walking here.
Stryjskyj Park (Park Kilinski) - one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in the city, a monument of landscape art of national importance. Considered the most beautiful parks interwar Poland.
Located in the southern part of the city between the streets and Stryjskyj on top of the Franco hills, from which originated the flow of Soroka. The developer of the project of the famous park was Rorinh Arnold, who was a famous garden art pro in the days of the Kingdom of Poland in Ukraine! Here grows about 260 species of rare ornamental plants.
Walking along the alley, we come to a very interesting place. It is a fountain "Ivasyk - Telesyk". Do you know a fairy tale like Ivasyk - Telesyk flew away from the Witch? He was rescued by these swans! Read here ...
