Annapurna, Nepal



Located in the north-central part of Nepal, Annapurna has been known as the deadliest mountain on Earth, and one of the most difficult to climb.

With an altitude of 8,091 mdpl, Annapurna is the 10th highest peak on the planet and is known for its frequent sudden avalanche.

How dangerous is the expedition to Annapurna?

Can be seen from the fact, less than 200 people who managed to climb it, but of that number there are 61 people who lost lives on the slopes Annapurna.

This means, Annapurna has a mortality rate of about 32 percent.
