Today we spent the entire day at a shared retail, restaurant, and creative space. These types of eclectic collectives are starting to pop up all around Mexico City. Here you can have a pour-over coffee, find a vintage suitcase, do a small batch mezcal tasting, pick up a new outfit, grab a pizza, have a beer, or relax on one of many patios with a cup of tea from a teashop with an almost endless selection.
We discovered that these collectives are starting to pop up out of a necessity to share costs. Each store shares the cost of the building, and space, often there are many shops within each shop. Having a traditional stand alone space just isn’t working with the shift to online shopping. These stores are trying something new and we love it.

El dia de hoy lo pasamos en Fusion; Casa de diseñadores, un espacio colectivo para artistas y personas creativa en todos los aspectos. En los últimos anos este tipo de lugares se han vuelto mas comunes en la ciudad de Mexico, en ellos puedes encontrar un sin fin de cosas que hacer, ver, comprar y saborear, La mayoría consisten en pequeñas tiendas de artistas locales que hacen, ropa, joyas, zapatos, bolsos, ademas de bares y restaurantes en los que puedes degustar deliciosos manjares.
Porque colaborar e ir colectivo es una idea Inteligente? En los últimos años para las tiendas físicas ha sido muy difícil, tomando en cuenta que la sociedad y el modo en que compramos ha cambiado con el uso de internet, muchos de las tiendas físicas han tenido dificultades financieras. “La union hace la Fuerza'”, en estos sitios se comparten los gastos de todo, incluyendo publicidad para eventos que realizan, haciendo la renta mas accesible, y atrayendo a mas publico a las instalaciones.

Argentine-Italian kitchen, they make perfectly crunchy thin-crust artisanal pizzas, fresh pastas and hearty lasagnas. If you crave something a tad lighter, they offer various quiches and salads. Try the local delicacy Chapuline (fried grasshopper!) Pizza, if that isn’t your thing……Guacamole Pizza. What else can we say?!

ANTHEA TEA ROOM
We loved this space. There is a section of teas from around the world in one room. Each Tea is housed under a glass bell jar, that when lifted, gives an amazing aroma of the tea leaf inside. We recommend the Fruita Tea from China.

OPEN SOCIAL SPACE
This area is available to rent for any event you’d want to host. Bands, DJs, Bartenders, and food options can be provided; or you can bring your own.
