El Nido, a hidden paradise in the Philippines

This hidden paradise is undoubtedly one of most beautiful places I've ever visited in the world. It is located in  Palawan, an archipelago of 1 780 islands in the south-western part of the Philippines. Palawan is known as “The Last Ecological Frontier of the Philippines”.Exploring this tropical playground's secluded beaches, secret sea caves, hidden lagoons, and coral reefs is an unforgettable experience. Lagoons have an unreal bluish-green water and are a perfect place to relax and most adventurous travelers can experience sleeping in a desert island for one night.El Nido is not very accessible to travelers as it is located in the north of Palawan island and can only be reached after a 8-hour bumpy ride from Puerto Princesa ( capital city of Palawan). As a consequence, only a few  travelers reach this beautiful paradise so it is not crowded of tourists and feels more magical.El Nido  is blessed with crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and a wealth of flora and fauna. Spectacular ancient limestone cliffs tower over marine sanctuaries teeming with innumerable species of tropical fish and coral, as well as five species of endangered sea turtles. Therefore, it is perfect for island hopping and snorkel in this enchanting archipelago.Photos: own source & NatGeo
