Rome, here we come!
Hello Steemit friends! How are you? I’ve had a few days off from work, and that’s been so good. I went to Bergen for the weekend, and I’m currently relaxing with some photo editing in Lightroom. I’ll post some photos at the end of this post.
In my previous post, I asked you if you had any suggestions on where to travel next. I got a lot of good ideas, and I was actually leaning mostly on Amsterdam, but I changed my mind. I’m travelling with my boyfriend (@thestig) and we want to travel somewhere we’ve never been before, so our next trip is going to Rome in Italy. This Sunday to be exact, and I can’t wait! It’s going to be so amazing. I’ve always wanted to see Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, the Trevi Fountain, and just wander the streets of Rome which contains so much history.
Our main reason for travelling there is to photograph. Even though Norway has beautiful locations for photography, it can get a bit boring photographing similar things all the time. Also, I love seeing new places.
Since Rome is a place I’ve never been before, I’m going to need some help from you guys. Where should we eat, shop, etc. I know a few places I want to see, and I will use Google/YouTube to find good restaurants, but maybe some of you know of a few places that’s not the most common place for a tourist to visit? We’re staying for four nights at Impero Hotel Rome, I hope it’s a good hotel. It’s in walking distance to pretty much everything, and that is very important.
I also want to show you two of my photographs that I shot yesterday. Fall is really kicking in, and I love seeing these beautiful colors every year. Yes, I have said I'm not a fan of fall, but I do love some parts of it. Which is this:
Thank you for reading, and if you have any tips about Rome, leave me a comment! Have a nice day Steemit friends!
Kristin.
