La Isla (the Island) - Commercial center in Mérida, Yucatán, México .

La Isla in Mérida, Yucatán opened their doors on April 26, 2018. I will say, this has been an ambitious project as a retail store created in the North side of the city.

This place has an artificial lake and outdoor green areas where the people can enjoy the evening activities or water ski during the daytime.

This project is consider the biggest one in the southeastern area of México.
Is going to have 180 rental spaces, about more than 100,000 rental meters of space.

La Isla ( the island) represents a new shopping mall concept called “mall entertainment ” where the technology is integrated with entertainment and services.

The ceiling material is a new technology where it has been used in Dubai’s shopping centers, to prevent high temperatures inside the space.

When you are walking on the second floor, it gives you the illusion that you are walking outdoors, and depending on the sky color, you will feel as if you are in a huge aquarium.
