Yesterday is Sunday and my friend asks me to go to Chatuchak Weekend Market with him. Someone maybe knows about this weekend market in Bangkok. Some foreigners Also known as “JJ Market” but Thai are often called “Suan”. It is a Thai word that means “Park”. I came here for the first time when I was 15 years old. On that time, I always came here to buy the cheap clothes or fashion things. Thai teenagers like to go here too. Now I am grown up then I come here to buy the kitchen ware or my bird seed.
昨日は日曜日でしたね、私は友達とチャトチャック・ウィークエンド・マーケットへ行きました。タイ人はチャトチャックがちょっと長い言葉と思って、私たちはいつも「スアン」と呼ばれています。意味は公園です。私はそこに多くの人が知っていると思う。私はあそこで、初めて行くのは15歳でした。その時、だいたい服とか、やすいファッション雑貨とかを買いました。
タイの若い人もあそこをよく知っています。今私は大人で、いつも台所用品と、鳥の餌を買います。
Actually, Chatuchak market sells many different kinds of goods. I think this market has all things for our daily life. Mostly are fashion things which have both of the new one and second hand. Moreover, there are household products, secondhand book or magazines, food, plants, pets, furniture and many things. I can’t tell you all but I think there is everything that you can imagine!. Thai know about each zone very well, normally we will go to only zone which sell the thing that we want to buy because there is a very big place. You cannot walk all around in one day.
チャトチャックはいろんな事があります。売られている物は、日用雑貨、衣類、それは新しいも中古物も売れます。他のは家庭用品、中古本、民芸品、食品、植物、ペットとか…
私はあなたにすべてを教えることができません。タイ人は良く知ってるのは何のゾーンが何か売れます。ですから、私たちはそのゾーンへ自分の欲しい物を買いに行きます。あそこは大きい場所から、あなたは一日中歩くことはできません。
Chatuchak weekend market is fully open from 9:00am-6:00pm over Saturday and Sunday
Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
On Wednesday and Thursday will be change to the big Plants market only – 6:00am to 6:00pm. Actually, you can go to buy very cheap trees and plants on Tuesday night around midnight to Wednesday Early Morning.
On Friday is the preparation day for some shop before open on the weekend. If you go to there on Friday, It’s not every shop that will sell you something but they sell only to wholesalers. There is also Friday night market opening time - 10:00pm. to Saturday Early Morning. Night time you can enjoy shopping but there are only 30% of all shops that open.

水曜日と木曜日には大きな植物と花市場があります。実は、火曜日の夜、深夜から水曜日の早朝まで、安い植物を買うことができます。

Anyway, Chatuchak weekend market is a very interesting place. You can be enjoying with everything. This place is the indoor and outdoor markets which don't have air conditioner. You can also be a very hot and humid experience. You can wear the relaxing clothes such as t-shirt or tank top and short pants. You can also wear sneakers or sandals.
There are many people so you have to beware your belongings that is the important thing. Please carry your shoulder bag on your front. Keep your wallet and cash secured in your front pocket. Try to leave most things in the safe in your hotel room and only take what you need with you.
チャトゥチャックの週末市場はとても興味深い場所です。あなたはすべてを楽しむことができます。あそこの場所にはエアコンがありません。あなたはTシャツやタンクトップ、ショートパンツなどを着ることができます。スニーカーやサンダルを着ることもできます。多くの人々がいるので、重要なことである、あなたの所有物に注意する必要があります。
One more thing, if you have more time doesn’t be shy to take photos at the middle road of the market. It is great fun and really gets the atmosphere.
