This time I would like to show you pics from our trip to Córdoba as part of our wedding journey in August 2009 where we also visited the other Andalusian cities Seville and (of course as it's my preferred place to stay) Málaga. I really hope you enjoy the photos of this fantastic Spanish city, even if the quality of the images is not comparable with the brilliance of the photos made by great cameras available today. |
Diesmal möchte ich euch Bilder unsers Urlaubs in Córdoba zeigen, wohin uns unsere Hochzeitsreise im August 2009 führte, in deren Rahmen wir außerdem auch noch die anderen andalusischen Städte Sevilla und (natürlich, da es mein absoluter Lieblingsurlaubsort ist) Málaga besuchten. Ich hoffe sehr, euch gefallen die Fotos von dieser fantastischen spanischen Stadt, auch wenn die Qualität der Aufnahmen nicht mit der Brillanz mit heutigen Kameras geschossener Bilder mithalten kann. |

| When we arrived in Córdoba in addition to bright sunshine temperature was broiling. To reach the hotel we had to carry our luggage over the mighty Roman bridge of Córdoba. | Als wir in Córdoba ankamen, war es bei strahlendem Sonnenschein glühend heiß. Über die mächtige Puente Romano schleppten wir unser Gepäck bis zum Hotel. |
| After that a cool refreshment was urgently needed. | Danach gab es nichts Angenehmeres als ein kühles, erfrischendes Getränk! :) |

| The Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba looks back at a changeful history and contains a cathedral as well as a mosque. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984. | Die Mezquita-Catedral ("Kathedralmoschee") von Córdoba blickt auf eine wechselvolle Geschichte zurück und beherbergt sowohl eine Kathedrale als auch eine Moschee. Seit 1984 gehört sie zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. |
