I visited Phong Nha and Ninh Binh, Vietnam last month and got a few good shots. From the buffalo traffic on the motorbike to the statggeringly dense canopies and symphony of insects and nature, these destinations will really realign you. Check out the beautiful landscpaes encountered as we made our way to the waterfall in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park before embarking to Ninh Binh.
View of the rice paddies from behind our homestay early in the morning before heading off for our hike.
Riding motorbikes to the botanical gadrens gave us some nice views of the 'Son' river.
You can walk to the waterfall in about 15 mins. It's not a bad hike and there are many trails you can take after the waterfall leading into the jungle. Be careful though, the maps were useless. Pay attention to where you are going when you hike!
Here's a taste of the intense flora in the region.

And a huge buffalo block party throw down on the way back to our homestay!
