TRAVEL#1: JESSA WENT TO SAUD BEACH, PAGUDPUD ILOCOS NORTE

North to south, Ilocos Norte can offer a lot of drawing power in terms of tourist destination. I am a resident of the province but I am still fascinated every time I visit those places.
I worked for a year in other province and when I get back in Ilocos Norte, all I wish was a weekend at the beach, and then finally I was able to do it with my friends, not just one but two weekends at the beach.

May 12, 2018. This is it! After how many years I can actually feed my soul with an ocean air in a summer. Feel the sand under my feet, wind in my hair and salt on my skin.
I decided to go to Saud Pagudpud Ilocos Norte also known as Boracay of the North because of its white sands. If you can’t afford Boracay, I can recommend you to visit Saud Beach.
Saud Pagudpud is 2 hours away from Laoag the capital city of Ilocos Norte. Since me and my friends don’t have a car, we actually rode the bus going there and it costs us Php.100($2). From the town proper of the municipality, we rode on a tricycle for Php. 50 ($1) to reach Saud Beach.

Saud Beach offer incomparable to other beaches in the country owing its more quiet and tranquil ambiance. And from the distance, we can clearly see the newest Pagudpud Windmill on top of the mountains.

But since its summer, you can hear happy voices together with the slap of the waves on the shore. Aside from the white sands, Saud’s clear water and clean seashore adds more splendors to its natural beauty.

They are maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the beach so the tourists can have a good and relaxing stay here.

You don’t have to worry about spending a lot, to stay here is very affordable. Most of the beachfront hotels and transients offer very cheap rates and you can also bring your tents. Saud Beach doesn't offer nightlife experience and that made it unique compared to those commercialized beach resorts. You can also have a food trip in local restaurants and canteens without spending a lot.

Here are some of my pictures to be treasured forever and reminds me that one weekend I stayed in Saud Beach, Pagudpud Ilocos Norte.

It is true that the best escape in life is going to the beach and make happy memories. It was a really unforgettable weekend with my friends. We’ll probably visit Pagudpud again and again and again.

I WILL NEVER. EVER. EVER. GET RID OF THE DESIRE TO GO BACK TO THE BEACH AND RUN THROUGH THE SANDS.

THANK YOU FOR SHOWING SOME LOVE
