Mratinje Dam and Hydroelectric Plant
The dam was completed in 1975 with designs by Energoprojekt Its construction resulted in the flooding of the Piva canyon and the creation of Lake Piva, which, with its 12.5 km², is the second largest lake in Montenegro.
The construction of the dam began in 1966, and over the next 10 years, which lasted its construction, over 5,000 builders built over 800,000 cubic meters of concrete and 5,000 tons of steel in this dam.
