These special flowers bloom after 12 years in this hill station of Kerala which is in south India.

There are many beautiful places in India to visit, from which munnar is one of the place. Tourists come from abroad to visit munnar.This place munnar makes everyone's mind happy and joyful. This year, Kerala's munnar is the topic of discussion because of their flowers. There is a flower name is nilakurinji , due to which the whole valley is looking blue. According to kerala tourism, this year, tourists are especially coming from far-away to see it.

These flowers bloom after every 12 years in munnar of the kerala state of South India. When this flower is blooming, not only the country, but people from abroad come here. This flower is known as the blue mountain which is recognized by the name of nilgiri, and its scientific name is Strobilanthes kunthianus. Before this, the flowers were bloomed in 2006 and after that, it has bloom in 2018. In India there are total 46 species are found, in which most of the species found in munnar.

In the western slopes of Kerala, nilgiri or blue mountain flowers are bloomed after 12 years. The special thing of this flower is that it blooms once in 12 years and after dry, its seeds fall down and they take about 12 years to become a flower.

At the beginning of the July, the mountains will appear here for the next three months. Tourists are coming from far away to enjoy their holidays and to see these beautiful flowers.
