Gadaladeniya Raja Maha Vihara

is an ancient Buddhist temple situated in Pilimathalawa, Kandy, Sri Lanka. Gadaladeniya Raja Maha Vihara temple was built in 1344 under the patronage of King Bhuvanekabahu (IV). This was build using stones. it is said Indian artists were used building this temple.
