[Текст на српском] The first impression of Amsterdam, acquired from a tourist boat in which we drifted through its channels, was incredibly beautiful. Extremely beautiful houses, neatly leaning against each other and so harmoniously painted as if one master (artist painter) worked them… But when you come to Amsterdam from a country where cannabis is not legal, your eye simply has to stop over such a sight…
When you go from a boat to a “land stroll”, the impression changes. On the streets, whith a lot of pubs, there is a smell of marijuana in the air. Can even buy sweets from marijuana. For me it was a truly unusual experience.
Otherwise, do not let your media lie to you — despite the legalization of marijuana in the Netherlands, crime rate and drug addiction has not increased. There is no historical overdose mortality rate like in the United States. There are no problems with the HIV virus due to dirty needles like in Russia. There are no drunks who are vomiting down the street like in the UK. But there are many beautiful girls on bikes :)
