Is the largest mangrove forest in the world.......

It is located in Khulna, Satkhira , Bagerhat district of Bangladesh and South24 Pargans district of West Bengal, India.Padma, Meghna, and Brahmaputra river are flowed across of Sundarbans area.

Let's see a view of Sundarbans.......

The Sundarbans contain the world's largest coastal mangrove forest. It's total area is about 10,000 km square.
The principal and most charming tree of this forest is Sundari(Heritiera fomes). According the name of this tree the forest is called SUNDARBANS.

Besides this Sundari tree there are so many trees like Goran (Ceriops decandra) and Keora (Sonneratia apetala) all of which occur prominently throughout the area.
Sundarbans is the most rich and large habitat for wild animal.
The most attracting animal of this area is Royal Bengal Tiger. People of various country are visit here to see this most charming animal by their own eyes.

Moreover,monkey, sanke, elephant, dolphin, fishing cats, macaques, wild boars, common grey mongooses, foxes, jungle cats, flying foxes, pangolins, and spotted deer are also found in abundance in the Sundarbans.

Here are at least 150 species of commercially important fish, 270 species of birds, 42 species of mammals, 35 reptiles and 8 amphibian species.
It is also a large habitat for many kinds of birds and migration birds.

Sundarbans is recognition by UNESCO as a most beautiful and charming world heritage site.
