When we stopped a few weeks ago on our return trip to Vietri to stay there we spontaneously decided to visit the ancient Pompeii. Said and done after a good breakfast, we set off early in the morning. From our hotel To Pompeii it was about 30 minutes by car.Pompeji is located in the Italian region of Campania near Naples, at the foot of Mount Vesuvius and close directly to the modern Pompeii.
When we arrived in Pompeii I tell you people an Italian trafficschaos high 10, but somehow it runs nevertheless.Augen to and by was the motto.Endlich arrived we on the private tourist park our car turned off.The advantage of the parking is supervised and lies Directly at the excavation site. When I remember correctly we have paid 1.50 EUR the hours. What I would like to mention, if you want to go to Pompeii to visit the ancient city, then please pay attention to the following.
Good footwear and a backpack with provisions the city is say 10 square kilometers large. We were there one day and this definitely did not go to see everything.
After the parking lot there are old carousels and then some stands with typical souvenirs from Pompeij and very professional sellers who directly appeal to you something to sell. So a plan you do not buy the gets you at the checkout for free.
After we had fought past the stalls, we finally arrived at the finish. The legendary Pompeii is in front of us, and wants to be explored. I was delighted as a little boy. Als wir vor einigen Wochen auf unserer Rückreise in Vietri halt gemacht haben um dort zu übernachten haben wir uns spontan dazu entschieden dem Antiken Pompeji einen Besuch abzustatten.Gesagt und getan nach einem guten Frühstück haben wir uns früh morgens auf den Weg gemacht.Von unserem Hotel bis nach Pompeji waren es ca.30 Min Autofahrt.Pompeji liegt in der italienischen Region Kampanien bei Neapel, am Fuße des Vesuvs und schliesst direkt an das moderne Pompeji an.
Als wir in Pompeji angekommen sind ich sags euch Leute ein Italienisches Verkehrschaos hoch 10,aber irgendwie läuft es trotzdem.Augen zu und durch war die Devise.Endlich angekommen haben wir auf den privaten Touristenparkplatz unser Auto abgestellt.Der Vorteil der Parkplatz ist überwacht und liegt unmittelbar an der Ausgrabungsstätte.Wenn ich mich richtig entsinne haben wir 1,50 EUR die Std.bezahlt.Was ich noch erwähnen möchte,wenn Ihr mal nach Pompeji fahren wollt um die antike Stadt zu besichtigen,dann bitte auf folgendes achten.
Gutes Schuhwerk und einen Rucksack mit Proviant den die Stadt ist sage und schreibe 10 qm km groß.Wir waren einen Tag da und das hat definitiv nicht ausgereicht um alles zu sehen.
Nach dem Parkplatz gibt es alte Karussells und dann einige Stände mit typischen Souvenirs von Pompeij und sehr professionelle Verkäufer die einen direkt ansprechen um dir etwas zu verkaufen.Also einen Plan braucht ihr nicht kaufen den bekommt ihr an der Kasse gratis.
Nachdem wir uns an den Ständen vorbei gekämpft haben waren wir endlich am Ziel angekommen.Das sagenumwobene Pompeji liegt vor uns,und will erkundet werden.Hab mich gefreut wie ein kleiner Junge.Die Kamera auf Hochglanz poliert und war bereit alles mitzunehmen.Vor dem Eingang sind große Vitrinen aufgebaut und da wird es schon etwas emotional den in den Vitrinen liegen Menschen vom Kleinkind bis zum Erwachsenen in genau auch der Position in denen Sie von der bis zu 25 Meter mächtigen Decke aus vulkanischer Asche und Bimsstein begraben wurden.Mir hat es schon den Atem gestockt. So we had a city guide with a map of the course very nicely illustrated the can you still buy additionally at the stands.
Also wir hatten noch einen Stadt Führer mit Streckenplan sehr schön bebildert den könnt ihr euch ja noch zusätzlich an den Ständen kaufen.
So now it is finally going to go through the entrance through what we now expected, I was really excited. We stood on antique ground.To the right of us is the Anfiteatro from the far side and the Palestra Grande on the left. We are then in the Palestea Grande.
So nun soll es endlich los gehen durch den Eingang durch was uns nun erwartet,ich war echt aufgeregt.Wir standen auf antiken Boden.
Rechts von uns schon von weitem sichtbar das Anfiteatro und links der Palestra Grande.Wir sind dann erstmal in den Palestea Grande.
