Bolivia - The hidden gem in South America!

Hey everybody,

Let me take you on a journey through Bolivia, a country which might not be everyones first option in South America. It is not glamorous Copacabana or as famous as Machu Picchu. But for me it was one the most amazing trips I have done so far!

Hey that's me! And the last picture of me with hair :) Now that we know each other, let's go!

The first thing you will notice are these amazing fruit and vegetable markets, fill up your backpack with cheap fresh fruit. You will need the energy!

After a quick stop in Santa Cruz we headed over to Samaipata, a lovely little village with amazing waterfalls within biking distance.

Any stop in Sucre or Potosi  and you will be met by gorgeous structures filled to the brim with history.

If the weather is fresh, perhaps a quick dip in a hot water spring, AKA a volcano?

What trip would be complete without a stop in the salt desert (I could honestly make a whole post about this place alone...)

Isla del sol with a poser llama.

We were lucky enough to get a look at the old fashioned boats in Lake Titicaca.

Feel free to check out this video I made during the trip as well:

All in all, it is a must see country, with interesting musems, history, landscapes and sights. Easily affordable and with the most welcoming and warm people you will find!

Thanks for joining me on the trip through this amazing country, and perhaps consider following for joining next time when we take the bus towards Cusco, Peru!
