Holy matrimony are indeed a sacred or scary event for some. I was blessed to be able to attend the union between two lovely people (well, what else should i be saying, right! Haha)
I was amazed by my friend's veil and how elegant and happy she felt that every ounce of me had to be happy for them.
The ceremony was held at St. Simon's church at Kota Kinabalu which was amazingly humbly beautiful. The humble stained glass brought much peace and serenity to ones' mind and soul.
Wrapping myself up as a sign of respect. I must say..this is a very strecthed picture. Hahaha..
I found peace here. Teared to the hymes and found inner peace.
Such simplicity can offer so much and it makes me wonder how simple life could be yet enjoyable.
Attending this event with my partner made me reflect on my relationship and how noble and unconditionally love could be. I particularly enjoyed the priest's sermon which seemed and sounded like the standard monotoneous sermon till......he began preaching and educating everyone openly about sex and mentioning it numerous times. He explained that some unions takes place to fulfill the need for sexual desire, money and companionship. Sex is a very natural act and that we were created to multiply. This all from an elderly priest addressing people from all generations.
It was indeed a wonderous day attending this event and entering into a spiritual connection during this trip.
Blessful and blissful day :)
