Hey lovely Steemians,
this will be a pretty short post today (but with a lot of photos) as I am with my family at the moment which I haven't seen in one year. And as it's my first full day after arriving yesterday afternoon, there are a lot of things to talk about, a lot of people to hug and a lot of beautiful moments to create.
So if I don't answer all your amazing comments, which I appreciate and love so much, it's not because I don't care. I read them everyday and I am super happy to have you here and read your wonderful messages. If I might anser only in a few words or pretty late, it's because of the time with my family (19. April to 07. May) which is so precious to me. I hope you don't mind :)
I live in Northern Germany and my family in Southern Germany. 1000 km apart. So it's a travel of (depending on the connection) 9 to 15 hours to visit my loved ones. And yesterday finally was one of these special days when I travelled through the whole country to visit them and spend some time with all the people I missed so much.
But before I go and visit some more of them later, I just wanted to share some ipressions of my yesterday's journey with you and keep that amazing adventure and the changing landscape from flat to full of mountains in my mind.
I took the Bus for the first part of the journey and for the main part a so called "IC" train, which is pretty fast.
Here is what mother earth showed me through the windows and the reasons why I love travelling by bus and train and just daydream.
A last goodbye to Rostock, looking out of the window of the double-decker bus
Starting the day with mystic fog and a beautiful sunrise
Arriving Schwerin to take the train for the rest of the journey
Time for breakfast!
Hamburg passes by the window
Some impressive and beautiful architecture by Hundertwasser in Uelzen
The first mountains appear and the landscape begins to change from flat to mountainous
Arriving in Frankfurt...
With its unique Skyline
And a short while later we reached Mannheim
The mountains are getting bigger with every stop
And there are even some stunning old castles from time to time
A last shot before I arrive in Freiburg and see my family again after one year! So excited and happy!!!
