What's almost as cool as standing on an overlook for the Grand Canyon?

That's my daughter, Zoe, and this moment was one of many incredible firsts for the dreemit clan from a trip we dubbed "Advertisement for the Game Called Earth".
Which just gave me an idea for another post.
This was our month long cross country trip of 2017- we wanted to do it big before our kids were out of the house, onto their own things :)
So many incredible memories were made, talk about a packed full vacay- four weeks of non stop experiences- many of them brand new.
As a Northeastern clan, the desert in particular was a foreign place. Amazing, beautiful, but wayyy out of our comfort zone!
The crazy thing is, the Grand Canyon didn't even make the top three of the things we saw!
Don't get me wrong, it was spectacular, but just a little too commercial and touristy after some of the things we stumbled on...
...and that's a story for another day!
