So here it comes the long weekend of 4 days and we (my boyfriend and me) are going to Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen is a high Alps region 2 hours south of Zürich.
On the day we landed we drove by Luzern, a cosy and picturesque town with lake in the center and breathtaking mountain 
)
After 4 hours visiting the center of Luzern we headed to lauterbrunnen.
The walley is inspiring by its amazing mountain walls and snowy peaks with over 70 waterfalls flowing down. It is a world class BASE jump and paragliding location for those searching some action.
The local towns surprise with amazing old huts and artfully designed church towers that blend into the panorama.
We stayed in cosy airbnb above Stechelberg with mountains all around, waterfalls and streams uzzing around and some Lamas grown locally.
Through the high altitude hikes were still full of snow we enjoyed great alpine hikes with snowy flowers views.
There are lifts that take you to the top peaks where you can get wonderful panorama views, but be aware of lots of tourists visiting. We skipped this one as we found authentic hikes on our own with nearly no one around visiting which gave us so much more pleasure.
