Views From A Rooftop Restaurant in Guanajuato, Contributed by @TangerineTravels

As we were exploring around Guanajuato City, we stumbled upon this hole-in-the-wall restaurant that appeared to have a rooftop terrace. They had a burger special posted outside that said you can get a hamburger, drink, and ice cream for 60 pesos or a little over $3.00 USD, so we decided to venture inside.

We were messing around a little bit that day and made this silly video which features this rooftop restaurant.

You need to be careful as you walk up the stairs because this photo was taken at eye level. In order to get up to the terrace, you have to duck way under this beam designed to discriminate against tall people.

It turns out that we had the place all to ourselves!

This was our view as we looked straight out from the balcony. The perfectly-manicured tree and some colorful homes in the background made for a pleasing sight.

You walk over to the edge of the balcony behind us and find this view. You're left wondering if these surrounding terraces are also restaurants or someone's home.

Finally, this was the view down the street to our left. It looks like the connected building sure could use a structural upgrade. The city is hundreds of years old so you occasionally come across something like this with cracks in the building and chunks taken out of the side. It looks as if they took a wrecking ball to it then changed their mind after the first strike.

Despite the sketchy entrance, this was a pretty cool restaurant and we'd definitely return!
