| Curiosamente muitos turistas não sabem, mas geograficamente a cidade fica numa ilha chamada Ilha de Santo Amaro, e é a terceira maior do litoral paulista, mas pelo formato também é chamada de ilha do dragão pelos moradores. | Curiously, many tourists do not know, but geographically the city is on an island called Santo Amaro, and it's the third largest of the São Paulo coast, but due the shape is also called a dragon island by locals. |

| Aqui tem 27 praias, das quais 2 são praias militares e precisa de autorização para visitar. As outras são de livre acesso, mesmo aquelas que são dentro de condomínio fechado. Porém além de turistas, muitos moradores não conhecem todas praias e eu sou um deles. | There are 27 beaches, and 2 of them are military and you need authorization to visit. The others one are open-access, even those that are within a gated community. But apart from tourists, many locals don't know all beaches and I am one of them. |
